"An apple a day keeps the doctor away!"
Via Google |
Hey ladies! I'm sure many of us have heard this saying before but how true is it? While exercising daily or weekly will improve our health and bodies. Going the extra mile and substituting our usual choice of eating junk food or fast food with healthy snacks will really make a HUGE difference in our performance at the gym, outdoor activities or just our everyday life. We feel better when eating an apple instead of something really sweet like a donut or candy.
I know we all have those sweet streaks, where we just feel like we NEED us some sugar! But, knowing how much better we'll feel after eating an apple instead of something "unhealthy" is so much more better than feeling guilty! I'm not saying to torture yourself and NEVER eat any of these things! Just know that you have a choice & when you choose to say yes to candy or sweets, eat it in moderation. Too much of it will make you feel sluggish or tired after the sugar rush is over.
Personally, I like apples! I think that you can also have this as a quick breakfast. I know some people eat it with peanut butter, but I think it is perfect the way it is!
10 Health Benefits of Apples (click here to check out the article):

10. Weight Loss (A Brazilian study found that women who ate three apples or pears per day lost more weight while dieting than women who did not eat fruit while dieting!)
